My First Xmas Cards of the Season

Good morning!  It's been over a month but I have been busy.  Lots going on but I still find time to make a card or two. 

I'm sharing my first Christmas cards for this season.  I know it's early but time does fly!

Angry Birds

Angry Birds.  It's all the rage now.  I even have an app for the game on my cell phone.  Kind of a fun game. Ever since I was first introduced to the game I had wanted to make a greeting card for kids or adults who love the game.

I ran across a tutorial on the Pajama Crafters site (January 2012) on how to make the Red and Yellow bird using your Cricut.  I used the Cricut Craft Room and modified some of the instructions and here is what I came up with.

I was even inspired to make one of the new additions to the Angry Bird family, Pink Bird.  Its a first attempt but I think she came out cute anyway...

Challenge CFC72

This challenge is from CAS-ual Fridays.  The challenge: to create a project inspired by your blog header.  Now my blog header needs some work but my greeting card entry should fill the bill.

Challenge MOJO260

Good morning all!  It's been a minute with the wild and crazy summer I had.  But although I had been busy I always found time to make my cards. 

Today I am competing in another challenge.  I find them to be a good way to stir the creative juices.  This challenge is by Mojo Monday.  The project is due tomorrow so my entry is coming in just in time.
